DESCRIPTION

Artex Model C406-2 406 MHz Emergency Locator Transmitter with Rod Antenna
  • Transmitts on all 3 emergency Frequencies (121.5/243.0 and 406 MHz)
  • Automatically activated during crash and transmits standard swept tone on 121.5 and 243.0 MHz
  • Transmits a 406 MHz encoded digital message to Cospas/Sarsat satellite system, allows for rapid identification and reduced Search and Rescue response time
  • Meets requirements of TSO C126, including 500 G shock, 1000 pound crush, and flame and vibration tests
